The Ohře River
The programme includes also something extra:
• Entrance fee to the Loket Castle
• Campfi re and sausages grilling
The river Ohře is the river of many faces. Near the town of Sokolov it flows through the “the moon countryside” of the surface mines but after having passed the village of Loket it enters, luckily enough, a deep woody valley, and the impressive Svatošské skály rocks appear. From the town of Karlovy Vary more rapids appear, Hubertus, Kyselka and Velichovka to name some of them. Then the rapids calm down in the town of Klášterec nad Ohří. That is also the point where the more interesting and active section of the river ends.
