Canoeing on the Sázava River
Term: May–October
Do you want to canoe along a breathtaking river? Then set off to one of the most beautiful Bohemian rivers in the region where the magnifi cent castle Český Šternberk rests. When requested your rafting trip can also be combined with a castle visit or with another programme found in this brochure. This trip is suitable even for those who do not have much experience with canoeing. Minimum age: 10 years.
Český Šternberk–Ledečko
Half-day trip with a moderate water fl ow, three wave sections and a few short rapids. Programme length approx. 2.5–3 hrs (9 km).
Ledečko–Sázava
Half day trip with a light water fl ow, three wave sections. Programme length roughly 3–3.5 hrs (11 km).
Sázava–Stříbrná Skalice
Half day trip with a light water fl ow and two wave sections. Programme length approx. 3hrs (8 km).
Soběšín–Ledečko
Whole day canoe tour combined with a picnic or lunch at a restaurant. Programme length approx. 5–6 hrs (15 km).
Ledečko–Stříbrná Skalice
Two river runs on the same section with lunch between trips. Programme length approx. 6 hrs (18 km).
